After a two-week break and an inspiring start to the Academy, it’s time to continue the UniSport ViLA program! Day three brings highly engaging topics, top-tier speakers, and the opportunity to gain new knowledge that will further motivate you for action in sports volunteering and leadership.
The introductory lectures laid a strong foundation for understanding leadership in sports, the importance of volunteering, and how students can actively participate in the development of sporting events. Now, we move on to practical examples and skills that will support your professional and personal growth!
Who are the speakers on Day Three?
Ivan Kraljević is a marketing expert with international experience across various industries. Born in Croatia and raised in Australia, he completed his studies in marketing, management, and languages at the University of Sydney. He began his career in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector as an assistant brand manager at Johnson & Johnson in Sydney. After that, he pursued entrepreneurship in Zadar and worked in IT sales in Zagreb, before returning to the FMCG world as a European brand manager for Trésor/Krave at Kellogg’s European headquarters in Ireland.
His passion for sports led him to pursue the FIFA Master – an international master’s program in sports management, law, and humanities, which he completed with distinction, winning the Madella Award for best final project presentation. He is currently a Marketing Manager at UEFA, working on the promotion and organization of some of the world’s leading sporting competitions.

Maja Marić (Planer – Event Management & Consulting)
An event management expert with rich experience in leading and planning large sports competitions, conferences, and events. Maja leads the Planer agency, which since 2018 has become synonymous with top-quality organization of sports and corporate events, gala dinners, festivals, and promotional activities. She has been involved in organizing major sporting competitions, including European and World Championships, as well as prestigious international sports events. Her knowledge of event management is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to learn how to create unforgettable sports experiences.

Anita Šikić is a recognized expert in project management and event organization, with extensive experience in sports marketing. Since 2015, she has served as Assistant Director of Marketing at the Croatian Handball Federation, where she plays a key role in organizing and promoting handball events at both the national and international levels. She has also been actively involved for many years in organizing the Boris Hanžeković Memorial, contributing to its success and international reputation. Her portfolio includes projects such as the World Shooting Championship, European Crossbow Championship, World Cups in gymnastics and rowing, and various medical congresses. Her ability to adapt to different roles and challenges is a testament to her versatility and professionalism.
