After an inspiring first day of UniSport ViLA, the Saturday edition brings a deeper insight into one of the key segments of sports events – volunteering! On Saturday, March 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, participants will have the opportunity to learn all about volunteer management, team organization, and practical tasks that are an essential part of this year’s program.
What to Expect?
The program kicks off at 10:00 AM with an official welcome from Haris Pavletić, President of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation. Following that, Anja Gelo and Ivana Aničić, experienced volunteer coordinators, will give a lecture titled “Volunteer Management in Sports Events: Practical Insights.” Participants will learn what it’s like to work with volunteers, how activities are planned, what the most common challenges are, and how to overcome them.
After a coffee break, the second part of the program continues with Ilona Matijević, Ivana Aničić, and Sara Ćetković, who will introduce the practical tasks and divide the participants into teams. Through hands-on activities and teamwork, participants will apply their newly acquired knowledge and gain valuable first-hand experience through interactive assignments.
